About our Unit 1st Peacehaven Brownies began in 1963. During the unit's forty year history the girls have enjoyed sleepovers, crafts, cooking, gardening, trips to London, bowling, swimming, earning badges, campfires, pack holidays and much more. The unit provides an exciting opportunity for girls to make new friends, learn new skills and take part in lots of different supervised activities. Our unit normally meets once a week in Peacehaven.
Joining our Unit
To join our unit you need to be between 7 and 9 years old. Girls who are 10 or over are able to go to Guides and girls who are under 7 need to put their names down for Rainbows. Peacehaven District covers Telscombe Cliffs and Peacehaven. The district includes one Rainbow unit, five Brownie units, one Guide unit and a small Senior Section. Girls can join the Rainbows from 5 years old, although as there is only one Rainbow unit locally it is advisable to put names down as early as possible.
